Welcome to My Panda Can’t Dance another lifestyle blog, pleased to meet you. I am a thirty-something mum of two who has sunk into big bottomed boredom. This seems the perfect place to carve out a little ‘me’ space so let me tell you a bit more about me.
I am living in the second city having spent my youth in London. Whilst my roots are southern my loyalties have been divided. Having moved to Birmingham 4 years ago I am finally starting to embrace all that it has to offer. The main thing is the range of amazing restaurants and pop up kitchens. My current goal is to work my way round all of these delicious establishments (as far as baby sitting allows!) If you are a food-lover too then you should check out our couch to kitchen area where I will be reviewing the places I have tried. You can also find the list of the next 10 places I intend to visit.
Of course the issue with all this eating is that it doesn’t help with the shrink the big bottom problem. Ok so it may not be a huge ass but its sizeable in comparison to when I was in my 20s. I have challenged myself to take on the Couch to 5k workout. Thus far I have brought the trainers and a rather comfy pair of lycra leggings. I am struggling with the get off the couch part currently but you can track my progress in the Couch to 5k – Sweat and Swears!
Of course the most important thing to know about me is that I swim in a pool of disasters. Constant drama and unrealistic situations are just a part of my daily life. As my mother likes to say I lurch from one crisis to another. It would appear that when I recount these stories they are hilarious to others (maybe its the way I tell them?!) Still if you like a sprinkling of a humor mixed in with amateur dramatics and a dollop of disaster head over to ‘Pandamonium’. Where you can find out about my latest mishap.
Whilst this is blog is more about me you may occasionally catch the odd story about my dachshund ‘Flick’. She is more of a burger than a sausage and also in need of a Couch to 5K. She also struggles to get off the couch, although her excuse is that she only has 2 and half inch legs. Personally I think if she spent less time raiding the bin (aided and abetted by my 1 year old) she would be slimmer… Anyway her antics are a constant source of amusement so keep your eyes peeled for her stories too.
Do I undertake paid work or PR stuff? Well not currently, because I can’t imagine that people would want to work with me! But I may well do in the future. If you want to guest post on this page then you can email me, but I don’t have any interest in SEO, or anything that contains 50 links. I do like recipes though, restaurant reviews and a few health tips are always good. You can contact me at email@example.com You can email just for fun too if you like!
So that’s me, and why My Panda Can’t Dance, can’t wait to hear about you
